| This is a 60gb PS3, but it's Japanese model (however you can choose any language from the menu). It is backward-compatible with PS2 games, unlike the new 40s, which aren't, and its the model that includes the emotion engine hardware-based playback for PS2 and older games (better compatibility than the software-based versions). Excellent condition, and includes the box and all materials that came with it.
*PS3 games are not region-coded in any way, so you can play a PS3 game from anywhere on this.
*Blu-ray movies from Korea, Japan, or North America will play on this machine.
*PS2 is region J, so games from Asia will play on this.
Cons of owning a Japanese PS3:
1. You need a power converter for 110. I read online that it will work with 220v if you buy the right plug, but I've never had the guts to try it -- the box says nothing about being 220v compatible.
2. It doesn't play Korean standard definition DVDs (they are region-coded differently).
I'll wipe the system clean so it's fresh for you. Includes the box and 1 controller.
I'll throw in a PS3 game (MLB 2K7) and a Blu-ray movie (Ballad of Ricky Bobby).
